How to Paint with a Canvas Board:
Once you have your supplies, begin by painting the canvas board with a coat of paint. You can either paint it all one color or do a random pattern. I did a random pattern of blues and greens. Let the paint dry completely.
Next, take your Mod Podge and put a coat on top of the painted canvas board. Be sure to spread it evenly. Let it dry completely. Now it’s time to add the 3D element to your painting. Cut a piece of cardboard into a small square or rectangle. The size doesn’t really matter, as long as it’s smaller than your canvas board.
Apply a layer of Mod Podge to the top of the cardboard and then place it in the center of your canvas board. Spread Mod Podge around the edges of the cardboard so that it’s glued down securely to the canvas board. Let it dry completely.
